Just got back from testing today. Passed part 1 of my Linux exam.
The next step is to pass part 2, and grow an epic beard(I think I saw it in the requirements).
Go Linux :D

Ever since I was a kid I’ve always envied the kids with the supposed natural mastery of art.
It seemed I was never gifted with this supreme art ability that everyone else in the class had. ( I was home schooled but had some art classes outside of that.)
Being stuck at the simple happy face stage fueled my frustration whenever I would have a vivid image pop into my mind.
Well, today I was watching an extremely strange cartoon and for some reason I stopped it and said, “hey, I should totally try to draw that.”
So while this is a very crappy reference drawing, it still makes me quite happy, knowing that maybe eventually I’ll be able fulfill some personal satisfaction in the areas of sketching.
And with that I’m also gonna try to start drawing just a little everyday. (Which I haven’t been doing. Shame on me :P ) No one ever picked up a guitar for the first time and played “Enter Sandman”, so I’ll assume that this effect is the same with the pencil.
Here’s to working towards a childhood goal.

(also for the record I ran out of space to even attempt to do his hair properly. :P)
Excessive reading may cause the spontaneous creation of various fictional characters.
Currently I have a man named Dallus Verasolii begging me to write his story.
Get out of my mind, Dallus. I’m deeply concerned about the story you intend for me to write.
Eventually I’ll have to give in to the demands. Oh how the imagination haunts!
I found this on my phone this morning…

That is a logo of my favorite Linux distribution…
Pffffffttttttt. This is making a small part of me want to stay at this job for a bit longer. :P
Heck, I got to help permanently decommission a mac with a wrench yesterday.

Sigh. I know I can’t wait to find a new job that is a bit more challenging…but I’m going to miss the tons of fun I’ve had at this one.
It was a good first job. :D

So we are doing this summer program for international high school students ages 14-18.
At first it was going to be two oriental girls living in our house from July 13’th to August 1’st.
Soon a french girl was added to the mix.
Now a spanish girl is coming along for the ride.
Well then…I guess I’ll attempt to learn what I can from three different cultures at once.
Maybe I’ll learn a little French along the way (Honestly who cares about Spanish -.-)
It’s going to be quite a full house. :P
I’m going to Anime Expo this Friday.
It’s time to prepare.
*starts watching anime*

Note #000: When you go out to an Asian restaurant with your co-workers and they expressly tell you not to eat the peppers on your plate; Your mouth will be eternally grateful if you do not eat the peppers. Even more so if they give you horrible stories of when they ate the peppers and the great pain and suffering that accompanies such an action.
If you are foolish enough to pull the “challenge accepted” card, I would highly recommend bringing a pitcher of water to the table. (Preferably garnished with lemon slices)
And don’t try to justify the laughs directed at you, in your panicked state induced by the large amounts of pain erupting around your tongue, because honestly, you should have read this note before you decided to engage in such a reckless plan.
Although there is a well earned reward for eating peppers so hot, you could swear you just licked the fires of hell. For in your moment of stupidity, you may happen to procure a new nickname!
With all that, I’m glad to pronounce that my title around the office is now, “PepperJack”.
You know what? It…Was WORTH IT!
Jolly good show,
-PepperJack
